Job description:
As a production team leader, you will be responsible for effectively leading our carrier production. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production of high quality precision parts, while maintaining quality standards and ensuring timely delivery of customer orders Duties and responsibilities:
- Leading and motivating the production team (about 20 FTEs), supported by a planner, a buyer, a QC employee and a work planner.
- Realising production planning and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Coordinate production activities internally and externally to optimise efficiency.
- Oversee quality controls and ensure production standards.
- Implement improvements in processes to increase productivity.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Report to the production manager and participate in meetings on production planning and performance.
What do we expect from you?
To perform this job well, we expect the following from you;
- Minimum MBO-4 diploma in a relevant technical field.
- Demonstrable experience in a leadership role, minimum 5 years, within the metal industry.
- Knowledge of metalworking processes and techniques (milling, assembly work and laser welding).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving ability and decision-making skills.
- Stress-resistant and able to perform under pressure.
- Command of the English and German languages in word.
