Quality Engineer

To expand the team, we are looking for a driven Quality Engineer for our Winterswijk office.

Hittech Bihca is located in the of Winterswijk and is part of the Hittech Group. With more than 120 colleagues, we are driven to make high-quality precision parts. Job description:

In this position, you will be working in a QA team at Hittech Bihca.

You will be working within a small team and together you will ensure that products and processes meet the desired quality standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality, safety and environmental processes. You will assess, analyse and communicate customer requirements.

What are your responsibilities?

  • Implement and enforce quality standards and procedures.
  • Actively contribute to improvement projects and Lean Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve quality problems (RCA, Ishikawa,8D, etc).
  • Collaborate with various departments to improve overall product quality.
  • Report quality performance to the QA Manager.

What do we expect from you?

  • HBO working and thinking level, with training in technical business administration, mechanical engineering or demonstrable technical affinity and previous technical education with technical understanding.
  • Thorough knowledge of quality systems.
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma. (Preferably LSS Black Belt)
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Accurate and analytical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of Power BI and Access is an advantage.
  • Proactive and customer-oriented work attitude.
  • Command of the English language in word and writing. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
